Founder & CEO
Erick Langi is an entrepreneur, researcher, and ecosystem builder passionate about supporting the next generation of African entrepreneurs. As the Founder and CEO of Sirimali Ventures, he leads the firm’s mission to identify, nurture, and back scalable businesses across East Africa.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, combining strong academic grounding with practical experience in entrepreneurship development, research, market intelligence, consulting, and venture building.
Under his leadership, Sirimali Ventures operates through three integrated pillars: Sirimali Academy, Consulting & Venture Support, and Angel Investment. His work is guided by the belief that successful businesses are not simply funded—they are built through mindset, structure, strategy, evidence, and execution.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Erick has extensive experience in research and consulting, having worked on projects spanning entrepreneurship, governance, markets, and socio-economic development. He is passionate about using research, innovation, and evidence-based decision-making to help entrepreneurs transform ideas into sustainable businesses.
His mission is simple: to build entrepreneurs, strengthen businesses, and contribute to a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem across Africa.
Ms. Winnie Kungu
Lead Consultant - Business Law & Compliance Advisory
Ms. Winnie Kungu is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Certified Secretary (CS), and Arbitrator (MCIArb) with extensive experience across both the public and private sectors.
At Sirimali Ventures, she leads the Business Law & Compliance Advisory practice, supporting entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs, and organizations to build legally sound, compliant, and well-governed businesses.
Her legal expertise spans litigation, legal research, banking and financial law, regulatory compliance, tax law, AI and data protection, legislative drafting, policy review, governance, and dispute resolution.
Ms. Kungu holds a Master of Laws in Regional Integration, a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax Administration, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law, and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.). She is also a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the Institute of Certified Secretaries, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London and Kenya branches.
Through her multidisciplinary expertise, she provides strategic legal, governance, compliance, and dispute resolution support to businesses operating in complex and evolving regulatory environments.
Fredrick Okiri
Lead Consultant - Tax and Financial Advisory
Fredrick Okiri is a finance, taxation, and accounting professional with over five years of experience supporting businesses in financial management, tax compliance, audit, and advisory services. As the Head of Tax & Financial Advisory at Sirimali Ventures, he leads the firm’s efforts to help entrepreneurs and businesses build strong financial foundations, maintain regulatory compliance, and make informed financial decisions.
Fredrick holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Meru University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Finalist. Throughout his career, he has worked with consulting firms and private sector organizations, gaining extensive experience in taxation, financial reporting, payroll management, auditing, bookkeeping, and business advisory.
His expertise spans tax planning and compliance, financial management, business accounting systems, audit support, inventory management, and investment readiness. He has also represented organizations in tax dispute resolution, conducted tax training for corporate clients and students, and advised businesses on strengthening their financial systems and internal controls.
At Sirimali Ventures, Fredrick is passionate about helping entrepreneurs understand the financial side of business. He believes that sustainable businesses are built on sound financial management, tax compliance, and strategic planning. Through his leadership, Sirimali supports entrepreneurs with practical financial advisory services that enable them to grow confidently and attract investment.
